The pursuit of confident, effective and expressive communication skills is central to every program offered at Speaking Connections. Our teaching methods empower all participants - children to adults - to project their best voice through the practice of Speech and Drama.
By engaging in public speaking, dramatic presentations, productions, improvisation, mime, characterisation, dance, movement, prose reading, individual and group verse speaking participants develop the confidence to be their best in all facets of oral communication.

2. Holiday Drama Production Workshops
Unlock your potential. These exciting, challenging and fun-filled workshops are designed for children from 8 to 12 years of age. Drama Production Workshops offer a supportive and nurturing learning environment that seek to develop confidence, creativity and performing art skills.
Drama Production Workshops give students the opportunity to experience the magic of the preparation, practice and performance of being “on stage”, while having fun and learning at the same time.

Next Holiday Drama Production Workshop: Alice in Wonderland
The workshops cover aspects such as:
Relaxation and effective breathing
Voice projection for performance
Developing creativity
Developing the Character
Responding and listening
Developing expressive speaking and oral reading skills
Understanding the importance of pause, pace, pitch and power of the voice for best delivery
Practicing memory and rehearsal techniques
